Riot Avenue on the Way |

Official statemnt from Frontiers Records reads:
Crazy Lixx are busy in the studio recording their third album that will be entitled `Riot Avenue`. According to singer Danny Rexon: `This time the music is a little more riff-based and straight-forward. We wanted to make real a hard rock album, so we decided to have a little more raw feeling in the production, sound and songwriting compared to our previous albums and there´s a lot more up-tempo songs than we had on New Religion. Also, the addition of a second guitarrist, Edd Liam, has made it possible to add some twin guitar playing and other interesting musical stuff that we´ve used on the album`. Some of the song titles are `Whiskey Tango Foxtrot`, `Young Blood`, `Riot Avenue`, `Church of Rock`, `Fire it Up`, `Only the Dead Know` and more. The album is planned for a worldwide release in April 2012 and will be followed by the usual string of live dates around the World.

Barcelona gig postponed |

Due to interferring with the upcoming album recording the gig in Barcelona scheduled for October 29th has been moved forward.
The new date is January 21st 2012. The venue and supporting acts remain the same. All tickets purchased will of course work for the new date.

Crazy Lixx are now looking for a new drummer to fill the spot when Cirera leaves at the end of 2011
If you are a hard rocking drummer over the age of 20 don´t hesitate to drop us an e-mail. Tell us who you are and why you´d be perfect for the job. Don´t forget to attach (or link to) a photo of yourself and a recording of you playing drums, preferably a video.

Cirera to leave Lixx |

Drummer Joél Cirera will leave Crazy Lixx before the end of 2011, after almost 10 years in the band.
Official statement from Joél:
After playing in Crazy Lixx for the last ten years it’s finally time to say goodbye!
It’s with mixed feelings of sadness, anger and joy that I’m finally leaving the band that I dedicated almost one third of my life to. I hope the guys in the band can find a suitable replacement for me and I wish them all good luck in the future ‘cause I know the new album is going to sound awesome!
I want to thank everyone who has been involved with Crazy Lixx in one way or the other since we first started back in 2002. It’s been a rollercoaster ride since the start with many ups and downs and I will have memories for a lifetime from the whole experience.
I want to thank my family for the support they have given me and my girlfriend for putting up with a LOT of stupid shit during the years but mostly I want to thank the people that listen and support us in one way or another. You guys have made driving for eight hours to play in front of 30 people worthwhile. With the years there were more and more of you guys and you have left a great feeling in my heart that I will cherish for the rest of my life.
I will make three more shows with the band with Barcelona in October being my final farewell!
Hope to see you guys these last couple of shows or I’ll see you some other time!

Edd is CRAZY |

It is Official that guitarist Edd Myers is a member of Crazy Lixx and will surely play a big role on the upcoming albums sound. Edd is a bluesy rock player with great tone attidude and he has been playing with the band live since New Religion was released
Andy Edd is like my brother and he really fits in both musically and socially with the band. Before Crazy Lixx me and him lived together in stockholm were we played and made music together
